Annapurna Labs as part of AWS, is looking for a System Hardware Engineer to be part of defining, shaping and integrating solutions to the next generation of our cloud platforms.
As a System HW Engineer, you will develop, test, and monitor the manufacturing health of Amazon Graviton server products, as part of a team integrating new silicon, hardware, firmware, and software into a revolutionary system architecture.
Key job responsibilitiesDefine and provide feedback to the design of Graviton servers and server components.Work with design partners and manufacturer sites to enable the manufacturing of the Graviton server.Review, identify, and qualify second source electrical components to enable continuity of supply.Continuously assess process capabilities and innovate to simplify processes, reduce cost, and shorten cycle time of Graviton server development and manufacturing.Collaborate with cross-functional team members to gain knowledge and improve product design, processes, and quality.Work with upstream vendors and downstream customers to optimize the entire value stream and put together joint processes that will lead to better cost and cycle time.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSB.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Technical leadership, Matrix work with multiple teams.At least 5 years of experience leading hardware products from design to mass production: life cycle, components selection, schematic/layout/thermal/mechanical design/review, hardware-software interfaces, production testing.At least 5 years' experience in high-speed board design and practical hardware lab.Design/lab experience of the following interfaces: DDR4/5, PCIE Gen3/4/5; practical experience with high-speed lab equipment.Willing to travel 3-4 times a year, 1 week duration.Practical experience with Bash/Python scripts.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Networking / Storage / Linux.Knowledge and understanding of server architecture and design.Technical leadership, Matrix work with multiple teams.Posted: October 31, 2024 (Updated 4 days ago)
