Automation Engineer Location: Cork Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 About the Position We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join a leading medical device manufacturing company in Cork.

What Youll Do Design, develop, and implement automation systems for medical device manufacturing processes Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to optimize production efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions that meet project specifications and timelines Conduct validation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems in compliance with GMP and FDA regulations Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance Provide technical support for existing automation systems, resolving faults and optimizing performance Document automation processes and ensure compliance with quality standards What Were Looking For Degree in Automation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field 2+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably within a medical device or regulated industry Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA, and HMI systems Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, and validation processes Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and process improvement Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-pressure environment Why This Role?
