Maintenance Fitter (Days - FMCG) Location: Louth Salary: €50,000 - €55,000 About the Position We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Fitter to join a leading FMCG company in Louth.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work day shifts only, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and production equipment in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
What Youll Do Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on machinery, equipment, and production lines Carry out routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and productivity Support continuous improvement initiatives and make recommendations for process enhancements Ensure accurate and complete maintenance logs and documentation are kept up-to-date What Were Looking For Qualified Maintenance Fitter with proven experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, or food production environment Strong mechanical skills, with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding Excellent fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repair skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required Proactive approach to maintenance, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency Why This Role?
