An innovative global Financial Services Organisation is recruiting anIn-House Tax Advisorfor its Dublin-based Tax Division.
This is suited to a qualifiedTax Lawyer OR qualified CTAprofessional interested in a strategic, advisory position.
This is a 9 month FTC contract position. The Opportunity Join an expanding personable, Dublin-based Tax Team. Supported by a collegiate off-shore in-house Tax Team which includes both legal and tax qualified professionals. Excellent L&D supports provided. An organisation with a positive culture and low attrition. Gain exposure across international tax advisory matters, risk strategy and management. Hybrid working. Key Duties: Advise on a range of issues across a number of tax heads including, Corporation tax, Withholding Tax, Financial Transaction Taxes, Corporate tax/exemptions/credits, Stamp Duty, Capital Gains Tax, VAT and Transfer Pricing. Assist in designing and implementing relevant enhanced tax governance structures. Advise on new and upcoming relevant tax legislative developments and their impact for the organisation. Coordinate with internal, external, and group stakeholders on tax matters. Assist with tax risk management strategy and policies for the organisation. Advise on relevant tax issues, liaising with relevant internal and stakeholders as appropriate. Foster and develop relationships with the wider global Tax division. Attend and represent the organisation at relevant industry and professional association events. Ad hoc duties and projects as required. Key Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Law, Tax, Finance, Business or related field. A recognised tax qualification (e.g. CTA or equivalent) and/or a qualified Tax Lawyer. Min 3 years' PQE. Top tier commercial advisory firm experience advantageous. Broad exposure to a variety of tax heads, including in a Financial Services setting. Proven ability to successfully work with relevant stakeholders within an organisation to provide holistic relevant tax advice, and to keep stakeholders abreast of relevant tax issues as appropriate. Excellent communication skills - oral and written. Strong research skills. Proven ability to successfully prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
