Tax Director

R&D Tax Director (Irish Head) This leading tax advisory practice is expanding their operations from the UK into Ireland and seeks to appoint a Tax Director - Business leader for their Irish Market Clients.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the firm's Irish business, taking ownership of their existing referral relationships and new client growth as well as managing R&D claims from start to finish.
You will be supported by a top-class team of technical professionals with PhDs and industry-specific expertise, as well as tax technical professionals and colleagues from the UK office.

Key Responsibilities: Examine client operations to determine costs qualifying for R&D incentives. Plan, organize, and execute the financial portion of engagements, including client meetings. Manage projects to ensure client expectations are met. Assist clients in discussions/audits with revenue. Mentor junior team members. Conduct technical research to support client engagements and thought leadership. Identify new products or services for clients. Manage fee and collection targets. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise: CTA with a minimum of 4 years PQE. Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and communication skills. Client service ethos, adaptable, commercially minded, and ambitious. Entrepreneurial and resourceful attitude. Travel: This position is located in Ireland; however, there will be opportunities to travel to the London office from time to time.
