The role (s) – Tax Manager –
Why is it available? A couple of staff have left to go travelling which has opened the door for Tax Managers/Senior Managers open to a new challenge.

You will be tasked with managing a portfolio of Irish based and international CT clients. The role will have a mixture of compliance and consulting work. There will also be training and mentoring of trainee and more junior staff members.

How is success measured? –
Success in a manager's role is based on taking ownership and developing relationships with clients. Cross team communication/collaboration is highly valued.

What are the long-term progression opportunities?

What about work/life balance?
The organisation promotes work/life balance with various wellness initiatives in place. Like in any tax role in practice, you will be busier than normal from September to December.

Remuneration –

What about the interview process? –
Questions the hiring manager typically asks might go something like this – "What have you done? What would you like to do?"
Interviews are not overly technical. It is about the person, what they can bring and how they might fit within the team.

The interview process is usually one round, maybe two if another Partner requests a meeting. Sign-off is there and the team is actively recruiting. All being right for both sides, you can expect an offer within a few days of the meeting.
