Job Description Either a Tax Manager in Practice or experience of a similar role in industry.
Experience of both Ireland and UK taxes.
Experience of US taxes would also be highly beneficial.
Self-starter who can implement required processes as the company scales.
Experience of working with non-tax professionals and ability to explain how taxes may impact projects in their area of business.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise when required and meet deadlines in a high growth environment.

Qualifications Manage corporation tax processes for the whole Version 1 group, using external advisors as required.
Compliance: Ensure all tax filing requirements are met.
Advisory: Ensure tax efficient structure is maintained.
Review proposed acquisition structures from a tax perspective.
For recently acquired companies review tax due diligence reports.
Determine and implement appropriate actions to remediate issues noted.
Integrate the companies into the tax processes for the whole group.
Transfer pricing update project currently ongoing and this role may be required to close out on the project.
Work with colleagues regarding tax aspects of wider finance team projects, including legal entity rationalisation projects.
Liaise with Accounts Payable department regarding any VAT queries they may have and engage external tax specialists as required.
Liaise with colleagues in other areas of Version 1 who have operational related tax queries, including PAYE and IR35 queries.
Use judgement on when required to engage external tax specialist in these areas.
