******086 191905701 207 8990GPC Finance is working on a new opportunity within a medium-sized firm in Dublin. My client requires an experienced Tax Technician to join their Tax Team. This role is suitable for someone who is self-motivated, with excellent organisational and technical skills who can execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities: Assisting with the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.Processing payroll returns.Processing VAT returns.Delivering work to strict deadlines and dealing with day-to-day queries and requests.Working closely with clients to ensure a high service level.Experience & Qualifications: Tax and/or Accounting Technician Qualification.1-3 years' experience working in a busy tax or accounting environment.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Experience with Tax, Accounting, and Payroll software.Excellent attention to detail and demonstrable numerical/analytical skills.Strong technical and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.Discretion in dealing with confidential information.If you are considering a career move, please feel free to send your CV or contact Rion Gallagher for a confidential discussion.
