Position description ESB Staff Insurance Scheme in conjunction with Marsh & McLennan Companies (Insurance Brokers) provide personal lines insurance products, Motor and Home, to ESB staff, present and retired and is one of the largest affinity schemes nationally. Experience in Home and/or Motor insurance is required. Due to the Central Bank requirements around notice periods for renewal notices, overtime of approximately 10 hours per month may be required in accordance with business needs. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the role will include: All aspects of administration/processing regarding: New business MTA's Renewals Benchmarking against external competitors Renewal Reconciliation Premium payment Daily interaction with customer enquiries via email/telephone/post Updating and monitoring of daily statistics Flexibility to rotate via home and motor products is desirable but not essential Knowledge of regulatory responsibilities Experience and Qualifications Essential Practical work experience in a personal lines role within the Insurance industry for approximately 2 years Technical knowledge in Home and/or Motor insurance Excellent customer service and communication skills Excellent knowledge of Applied system Ability to process New Business, Renewals, & MTA's Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to consistently achieve targets and deliver results. Teamwork Desirable CIP (Certified Insurance Practitioner) is desirable. However, the minimum qualification required is APA (Accredited Product Adviser). Location The role will be based in ESB Head Office, 27 Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2, D02KT92.
