We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Account Manager to collaborate with our customers, helping them build technical capabilities and drive innovation by transitioning workloads to Azure.
Role Overview: As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving key customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure platform.
You'll be responsible for building and maintaining the overall technical relationship with our customers, ensuring they maximize the potential of Azure.
This role is deeply technical, involving architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects, and Proofs of Concept.
You will work closely with various teams within Microsoft and our partners, always keeping the customer's needs at the forefront.
What We're Looking For: Professional Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 3 years of success in technical sales, deployment projects, architecture, and the implementation/support of complex distributed applications.Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or strategically important accounts.
Experience managing diverse stakeholder relationships to achieve consensus on solutions and projects.Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to drive collaborative decisions, resolve conflicts, and ensure follow-through with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skilled in leading and influencing virtual teams to ensure the successful delivery of customer projects.
Comfortable presenting to both large and small audiences, including senior executives, IT management, and technical staff.Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying and solving customer challenges through cloud technologies.Team Player: Skilled at orchestrating and influencing virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead projects through collaborative efforts.Technical Expertise: Enterprise-Scale Experience: Extensive experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architectural design, migration, and technology management at an enterprise level.Application Portfolio Management: Deep understanding of large-scale application portfolios within enterprise environments, including the migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud.Specialized Knowledge in One or More Areas: Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructures: Expertise in enterprise-scale cloud solutions and hybrid architectures.Data Platform Solutions: Proficiency in at least two of the following:Advanced analytics tools (e.g., Azure Databricks, Power BI, Tableau)Data governance, data science, and machine learning (e.g., Azure ML, ML Server)Technical Aptitude: Ability and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and understanding cloud trends.Competitive Knowledge: Awareness of cloud development platforms and the competitive landscape.Partner Ecosystem: Understanding of partner solutions and the ability to leverage these to address customer needs.Education & Certifications: Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science/ML/AI, or a related field is required.Certifications: Preferred certifications include Azure, Containers, Databases, Big Data, Data Science/ML/AI technologies.
