You'll provide the talent, ambition, and drive.As a Technical Business Analyst at Optum, you'll be responsible for working with business partners and Product Owners to define and document detailed business and technical requirements for the development of our new Payment Integrity Command Centre.
This new capability will be the central data and analytics hub that will monitor the millions of pre-payment and post-payment, clinical and non-clinical medical claim reviews that are performed on a daily basis.
In addition to having impact on a great team, you'll also discover the career opportunities you'd expect from an industry leader.Primary Responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst:• Work with Product Owners and business partners to define and document business and technical requirements for data and analytics projects, this includes the documentation of data flows and data mapping from source systems into our analytic platform.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to assist with solutioning efforts -such as querying data sources and identifying data elements .
• Develop a strong business context and application of data and process flow • Work with Data source owners and Business partners to understand data points, calculations and definitions • Create feature stories and acceptance criteria• Participate in sprint planning and review meetings with related stakeholders, and development team• Assist with delivery team of features once implemented • Attend and participate in daily scrum team stand-ups • Contribute to Optum Ireland's Business Analyst centre of excellenceYou will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications of the Technical Business Analyst:• Experience with Business and Technical Requirements analysis and Documentation• Knowledge of Agile concepts• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills• Ability to analyse data to assist in requirement definition• Understand of relational database concepts and business process flows• Strong SQL querying experience• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint• Fluent written and verbal communication skills• Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills with ability to balance multiple priorities.• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good level of maturityPreferred Qualifications of the Technical Business Analyst:• Experience with Rally software for agile development• Healthcare Experience• Knowledge of Payment Integrity operations• Intermediate level of proficiency with Tableau / PowerBIPlease note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
