Our client is seeking a seasoned and motivated professional to lead and optimize all customer-facing interactions to enhance sales, boost brand awareness, and strengthen customer relationships. Collaborate closely with laboratory operations to support business development, ensuring alignment with the company's core offerings and strategic goals.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement commercial sales, marketing, and pricing strategies in partnership with the Managing Director to achieve top and bottom-line growth.Manage and expand existing customer accounts, while actively pursuing new customer acquisition to meet growth targets in the Irish market.Oversee tender processes for local, global, and government accounts, ensuring all significant opportunities are captured.Coordinate and train teams in sales, marketing, customer care, sample receipt, and logistics to maintain high standards and differentiate our services from competitors.Monitor budget expenditures across all divisions to ensure profitability and a strong return on investment.Establish challenging annual targets and create team incentives to drive sales performance.Collaborate with European and global teams on account management and the development of new customer offerings.Drive continuous improvement projects within the commercial team, focusing on enhancing the customer experience.Engage in lead generation and business development activities until the sales team is expanded in line with business growth.RequirementsAt least 10 years of senior management experience in sales, preferably within the testing, inspection, certification, or food industry.Bachelor's degree in microbiology, chemistry, food science, or a related field.Demonstrated success in driving revenue and margin growth.Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple teams.Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team building.Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting, KPI management, and budgeting; LIMS experience is a plus.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.Due to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
