Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage the Technical Documentation department, including all department functions processes and responsibilities.Coordination and management of technical documentation ensuring compliance to work schedules, project timelines and contracts.Maintain a detailed understanding of the Liebherr product technology within the team.Manage compliance with relevant standards, corporate guidelines, contractual obligations, and legal requirements.Liaise with LCC suppliers as required to obtain sub-supplier documentation within an acceptable timeline.Investigate and implement new tools and techniques for production of documentation, where appropriate.Manage the development of the LiRS content editing system within LCC.Map the documentation process, identify areas for process improvement, and implement.Collaboration with other MCC sites for the development and harmonisation of processes and presentation of technical documentation.Technical documentation department staff recruitment, employee development and supervision.Other duties will evolve and arise from time to time.Qualifications, Requirements & ExperienceA third level qualification in engineering.Management experience within a similar technical organisation.Experience in a regulated industry, preferably with a manufacturing background.Goal-driven individual with a desire for continuous improvement.Dedicated to achieving high quality results and work standards.Experienced in developing optimum methods and processes.Ability to comprehend, simplify and restructure technical information for different target audiences.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Fluency in German or another European language would be desirable.We offer a competitive salary, pension scheme, training and development opportunities, subsidised canteen, retailer discounts, travel opportunities, sports and social club, cycle to work scheme and if that isn't enough, we have an early finish on a Friday!
