Technical Manager Co Cavan Fulltime/Permanent Monday - Friday Day Shift Attractive Salary Vickerstock are excited to be partnered with our award winning FMCG client who are dedicated to delivering excellence and are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to join the team at their state-of-the-art factory based in Co Cavan.

As Technical Manager you will have full responsibility for advising on all technical aspects of the factory, ensuring that all products meet customer and legal requirements, particularly for food safety.
Key DutiesDesign, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of HACCP based Quality Management SystemMonitoring of factory cleaning and housekeeping and hygiene standardsCorrective action and control of non-conforming ingredients / productsProvide technical guidance, training and support to other departments, developing awareness and understanding of technical issues.Responsible for the management of line Quality Staff, to include recruitment and selection, training and development, performance monitoring, counselling and disciplining.Product / process / environmental improvements to meet Customer and legislative requirements and progress against internal KPIsDaily reporting for the operation team, providing relevant information to facilitate problem solving and continuous improvement.Liaise with Customers / Statutory Bodies during factory visits and audits providing information required and implementing corrective action where necessaryParticipation in the internal, independent auditing team as requiredManagement of serious incidents and corrective actions / preventative measuresWe are looking for5+ years' experience as a Technical/Quality Manager within FMCGCustomer facing experience with major retailers, including hosting site auditsTeam leadership qualities and personal development skills.Report writing and procedural writing skillsSound like the career move you've been after?
