We are presently recruiting for a Technical Manager for our clients in County Limerick.
Reporting directly to the factory manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of projects, ensuring technical feasibility, and delivering high-quality solutions on time to multinational clients.
You will adopt a preventative maintenance approach, manage the technical support team, and maintain all machinery to the highest levels.
You will oversee all production areas including moulding, welding, grinding, packaging, and all automation systems.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday and based in Newcastle West, County Limerick.
Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the technical factory support team within the plant.Manage air compressor and supply systems maintenance.Manage water cooling systems.Manage electrical distribution to the plant.Management of electrical contractors.Project manage all automation systems and be the point of contact with external contractors.Manage material feed systems including silos, day bins, pipework, and control systems.Lead on all preventative maintenance schedules.Ensure PM plans are as per machine supplier recommendations.Promote and implement TPM projects.Manage and develop the technical team of senior technicians, technicians, and apprentices.Support Industry 4.0 thinking and projects.Skills and Experiences: Minimum of 5 years' experience.Engineering degree – preferable in injection moulding / polymer.Good general knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical / automation systems.Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.Salary is open to negotiation and in the region of €70,000 with yearly bonus, pension, and medical and sick pay scheme.
