Technical ManagerLocation: Kildare (On-site, Monday to Friday, flexible start times)Industry: Multinational Food ManufacturingOn behalf of my client, a leading multinational food manufacturing company, I am recruiting for a Technical Manager.
This site-based role will report to the Operations Manager and lead all aspects of quality and food safety within the facility.
The successful candidate will manage a team of 6+ quality and technical professionals in a low-risk manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems.Lead BRC and customer audits, ensuring compliance and readiness at all times.Manage, coach, and develop a technical and quality team to achieve operational excellence.Ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and customer requirements for food safety and quality.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Serve as the primary contact for external bodies and customers on technical and quality matters.Requirements:Proven experience in a technical or quality leadership role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Strong expertise in leading BRC audits and managing customer audit processes.In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards, legislation, and compliance.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety.
