Technical Project Manager

Oliver James have partnered with a leading Financial Services client based in Dublin City who are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their growing team on an initial 6 month day rate contract.
The role: Tech Project Manager - 6 month day rate
x2 days on-site per week in Dublin City required.
Rate - DOE
The purpose of this role is to assist in managing and maintaining the on-premise and AWS Proving and Pre-Production environments, while also improving solutions and capabilities.
Day to day snapshot: Lead the process of decommissioning servers identified as unnecessary.Allocate project costs based on resource usage.Review user access in the environments to ensure adherence to the principle of least privilege.Coordinate activities across projects and functions to maximise the efficiency of environment usage.Required experience: Knowledge of enterprise solutions that encompass both on-premises and cloud environments, including UNIX, Windows, and back-end systems such as mainframe/AS400.Experience with operating systems, infrastructure, and middleware.Banking experience required.
