The role of the Technical Support Specialist is to provide IT support to customers using DHL systems for shipping.
Key Tasks Principle Accountabilities Working with customers via phone, email, chat to help support their usage of our DHL systems and to manage their queries and issues effectively and efficiently. Escalate unresolved issues to team expert or regional support teams. Remotely support new customers during DHL application installation/onboarding process. Liaise with internal Operations and Sales teams to report on customer issues. Track and resolve daily system operational failures. Take necessary steps to prevent reoccurrences and coordinate data recovery. Identify and record common faults, enhancement requirements and new business needs and ensure that these are raised to the appropriate Manager and/or Application Owner. Continue to improve and support the Sales team in the customer onboarding process with a key focus on enabling the earliest first shipment from new customers. What You Bring 2+ years' experience in a customer interfacing/customer service role/office environment. Ideally experience in a technical support/IT helpdesk position preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Good understanding of Information Systems and IT. Enthusiastic person with a proven customer centric mind-set. The ability to work under pressure in a challenging IT environment. Experience in problem solving using an analytical and logical approach. Exceptional communication skills (perfect spoken and written English required) with the ability to communicate technical solutions to a varied audience. Legal right to work in Ireland.
