Technology Controls Office Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Technology Control Office (TCO) Specialist to join a dynamic financial services organization in Dublin. This hybrid role is perfect for a technology risk management professional who is experienced in ensuring IT compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will work closely with local and global teams to design and implement controls, minimize risk exposure, and ensure compliance with regulatory programs like DORA and MIFID II.
Key Responsibilities:Provide risk management guidance to technology teams on IT risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, and security assessments to minimize technology risk exposure.Develop and execute remediation plans for identified control gaps and manage efforts with risk owners.Stay updated on technology-related regulations (DORA, MIFID II) and support regulatory compliance projects.Coordinate and present risk reports to senior management and global forums.Key Requirements:Strong experience in Technology Risk & Controls, ideally in an investment banking environment.Familiarity with technology risk reporting and regulatory requirements like DORA and MIFID II.Ability to work independently under pressure, with strong project management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving and analysis.Proven experience in implementing guidelines, standards, and procedures in a technology-focused role.This is a hybrid role with a competitive salary and the opportunity to grow in a global financial institution.
