Reporting directly to the Head of Technology Governance, the purpose of the Technology Governance Manager is to develop and assure an effective and efficient governance model and frameworks that support the operation of Primark's technology estate. The role will work closely with technology domains to ensure best practice methodologies are developed and operated whilst ensuring deliverability within operational business constraints.

Here's a flavour of your day-to-day:
Define a clear technology governance framework to support Primark Tech on their transformation journey ensuring they meet all business requirements.Ensure appropriate governance forums are in place and operating under clear Terms of Reference that support effective decision making and support growing maturity.Support the technology leadership team with the production and maintenance of a comprehensive set of IT policies and standards documents and embed across Primark Tech.Work with key business stakeholders to ensure all IT policies are in line with Primark's wider governance and policy framework and financial controls framework (FCF) promoting best practice and safeguarding the security & integrity of the IT systems and infrastructure.Carry out (2nd line) assurance reviews & work with stakeholders to resolve any issues identified.Develop awareness initiatives to ensure all Primark Tech colleagues have visibility, easy access and understanding of relevant policies and frameworks.Support audit and regulatory reviews, as necessary, covering technology policies and frameworks.Contribute to the overall performance of the business and act as a valuable agent of change within Technology.What You'll BringHere at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
Proven professional experience in a similar role developing and implementing IT policies, standards, and management frameworks for an enterprise IT service.Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001 or ITIL.Experience of deploying process and quality initiatives that have shown demonstrable efficiency and quality outputs.An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner.Effective written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate compliance requirements and activities to stakeholders at all levels.Ability to translate complex language into clear and actionable IT requirements.Ready?
