As a Temp EHS Specialist you'll be responsible for performing EHS tasks to ensure Regeneron's compliance with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following: Developing, implementing and monitoring environmental, health & safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and company standards and values Writing/revising/rolling out of accurate operational procedures, training materials and EHS related procedures, ensure all work is subsequently carried out in line with same Participating in process and system walk-downs and the completion of safety reviews with active follow up of action closure Identifying and addressing site EHS issues and employee concerns Performing EHS risk assessments such as chemical, biological, machinery, area, task specific, and make recommendations to control hazards Developing, implementing and maintaining training programs for health, safety and the environment Supporting EHS training and inductions for new hires, ongoing refresher training for existing staff and deliver EHS related training programs to all levels within the organization Maintaining the EHS incident management process on site Managing EHS incidents to closure, including root cause analysis and CAPA management Identifying, implementing and tracking corrective actions to prevent recurrence Coordinating internal EHS auditing and inspection and actively follow up on necessary corrective actions to ensure audit readiness Responsible for the EHS internal intranet (RON) page as well as EHS communications Identifying and maintaining EHS metrics, trending and reporting of same including dashboards Working closely with EHS Managers and Senior EHS Specialists in selecting, adopting, implementing and overseeing appropriate programs which will enable the EHS strategy and installing them at Regeneron Building relationships with key departments This role might be for you if: You have a thorough knowledge of EHS legislation for a pharmaceutical facility operating within Ireland/Europe You have Operational Safety Experience: Safe Systems of Work - EHS permitting, Fatality Prevention Program - EHS Control of Hazardous Energy - Lock Out Tag Out You possess the ability to logically solve problems You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with good ability to produce technical reports To be considered for this opportunity you should have a BS/BA in Health and Safety or a related field with 3+ years of related industry experience.
Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology experience is preferred.
