Adecco are currently seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to join our Cork based client on a temporary basis. Temporary role 11 Month Maternity Leave cover Pay rate €20-€23 per hour DOE. Our Client is currently seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to join their team to provide support in various administrative and financial tasks. Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and documents. Process financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and expenses. Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in reconciling financial records, including bank statements and general ledger accounts. Support the finance team in conducting data analysis and preparing financial forecasts and budgets. Collaborate with team members to complete ad-hoc tasks and projects within designated timelines. Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records and documentation. Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits, as required. Provide general administrative support to the finance department. Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience as an accounting technician/ accounts assistant in a medium-large organisation. Experience in preparing monthly accounts. Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
