Key Responsibilities / Outcomes ? As a member of the Project Management Office, the Test Manager will lead the test management stream of multiple programs and projects, delivered using Waterfall or Agile methodologies Implement modern QA & Testing solutions, supporting multiple delivery methodologies incorporating multiple projects working across a variety of locations Manage and own Day to Day QA & Testing responsibilities for projects, allocate and co-ordinate test schedules, work and resource plans; managing progress of all activities against the test plan, managing others to meet test delivery deadlines Use demand planning tools and participate in the identification of and planning for test resource needs, augment teams as necessary with appropriate levels of test resources Accountable for overall test strategy and test plan design and processes for projects Create quality assurance procedures and user instructions to ensure a reusable process and tools approach Responsible to define standards for development of test scripts, deployment and reuse.
Provide reporting insights into progress of test activities, manage stakeholders, escalate issues and risks as appropriate to the relevant project group Management of partners and 3rd party providers when it comes to test activities Consult with key business stakeholders to ensure application design is optimised for testability Diagnose problems and probes underlying issues to generate multiple potential solutions.
Define and implement quality process improvements and metrics focused on defect prevention.
Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects or at release level Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience 10+ years as a Test Manager in complex technology implementations in large scale enterprises Experience on leading testing teams to ensure deliverables meets the project requirements and the specified quality.
Strong in-depth exposure to SDLC & STLC Phases, Agile and Waterfall method and delivery, best in class test systems and tools ISTQB Advanced advantageous, additional courses or certification in Quality Assurance Experience across a range of technology and product stacks, in some or all: ERP, WMS, CRM, eCommerce, digital, mobile apps, HRIS, SAP an advantage Demonstrable experience of CSV, implementing projects in a GxP regulated environment Solid understanding of Test Automation and Non-functional testing People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge Team work and emotional intelligence, good self-management, high value on openness and transparency Excellent communication and presentations skills
