The ASI is currently recruiting Care Workers who will work in our Meath Home Care/ Day Care at Home Services.
The successful candidate will work in assigned family homes across Meath and surrounding areas with offices based in Whistlemount Day Care, 6 Liscarton Villa's, Kells Rd, Navan, Meath, C15 PD35.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person centred care to people with dementia in the client's own home.
You will need good communication and organizational skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
To be successful in this position it is essential you possess previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activities with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities.
Full clean driving license and access to a car essential.
A FETAC level 5 is desirable.
Confidence in using IT/Email is also desirable.
