Social Care Worker KILDARE DAY SERVICES 56 hrs per fortnight Fixed Term - 12 months Informal enquiries to: Margaret Morrissey (office hours only) We are recruiting for positions of Social Care Workers to work as part of a dynamic team supporting in our Day Services in Kildare.
The successful candidates will be provided with the opportunity to support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing.
We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Social Care Workers to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life.
Requirements: Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care/Disability / Social Care Practice (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications) Please note social care candidates must be registered with or have commenced registration.
Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards and Person Centred Support Plans; Experience of delivering quality supports with achievable outcomes (PCPS) A valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
Excellent organisational, logistical and I.T skills an advantage.
Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role.
Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern.
Team Lead qualities to support Day Service Leader in the day-to-day running of the service.
