Job Specification Title: Part-Qualified Accountant My client, an award winning FMCG company is looking for an experienced part-qualified accountant to join their growing team based in Westmeath.
The successful candidate will be tech savvy, hardworking and have a hands-on approach.
Please note this role is office based.
The Job: Prepare monthly accounts: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
Support year-end statements and liaise with auditors.
Assist with budgeting and reforecasts.
Manage credit control and collect outstanding debts.
Monitor accounts, resolve payment issues, and reconcile balances.
Resolve queries on invoicing, payments, and discrepancies.
Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow, forecasting, and reporting.
Oversee payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and statutory returns.
Streamline financial processes for efficiency.
Support ERP implementation and automation.
Monitor inventory to align with records.
The Person: Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Background in manufacturing or FMCG is highly preferred.
Experienced in credit control, cash management, and resolving customer account issues.
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, bank reconciliations, and Irish tax regulations.
Proficiency in Sage 200 or similar accounting software is a plus.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive team environment.
