Providing assistance to our Head Chef in providing a high standard of home cooked food in one of Dublin's most popular gastro pubs.
Responsibilities to include: Following standard operating procedures in the provision of a quality food service Ensuring food standards and quality are continuously being improved on Training and supervising junior staff on menu preparation and presentation Planning / ordering and stock control Wastage recording and control Providing support to head chef in all aspects of kitchen management Attending meetings as required Being available to work 5 over 7 evenings and weekends The successful applicant will have: a passion for cooking good food a calm and professional demeanour an ability get the best out people and be a team player a formal professional cooking qualification 2 to 5 years experience in an Irish gastro pub / restaurant a drive to succeed and lead a kitchen team We will offer you: Competitive remuneration package Free parking Continual training and development Career progression Discounted gym membership Suitable applicants with required experience and qualifications will get an immediate interview.
