Situated just outside Roscommon town, our modern, bright premises provide a comfortable work environment, with kitchen facilities and ample parking available for our employees.
Role Overview: We are seeking a creative and skilled CNC Programmer/Toolmaker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of machining processes and materials, along with proficiency in Mastercam (and/or Delcam) software.
This role involves transforming concepts into manufacturable designs, working closely with CNC machine operators, and ensuring the production of high-quality tooling and dies for the medical industry.
Key Responsibilities: Create, modify, and optimise toolpaths using Mastercam/Delcam software to produce precision tooling and dies.
Analyse designs thoroughly to identify and address any issues related to manufacturability and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with CNC machine operators, providing clear instructions and support during the machining process.
Contribute to prototyping and new product introductions, working alongside customers to design and develop tooling.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of machined parts to meet the strict requirements of our medical industry clients.
Requirements: Proficiency in Mastercam and/or Delcam software.
Strong understanding of machining processes and materials used in tool and die production.
Previous experience in a similar role within the tool and die industry is preferred.
Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Benefits: Competitive salary up to €50,000, depending on experience.
Full-time position with standard working hours: 8 am 5 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8 am 4.15 pm on Fridays.
Overtime available but not compulsory.
