Purpose: We currently have an opportunity for an experienced, driven and ambitious Trade Counter Salesperson to join our team.
Working as part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team you will be primarily responsible for promoting and increasing sales within our Garden Sales division, through providing quality service and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:Provide customers with information on K Landscapes products at the trade counter, in order to increase sales within the Garden Division.Provide a comprehensive technical service to customers and enquirers, liaising with technical support to provide the best possible outcome for the customer.Develop, install and maintain effective communication channels with current and potential customers.Deal with any customer complaints and liaise between the customers and the relevant departments to resolve.Specify customer needs, prepare and negotiate quotes and specifications.Provide support to sales representatives e.g.
samples, quotes, orders and technical support.Generate sales of company products and services as opportunities are presented and new products arise.Promote and sell the benefits of our brands to a range of stakeholders.Maintain collaborative working practices, developing good rapport and effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.Act as an ambassador for the company values and adhere to all company policies and procedures.Person SpecificationCriteriaEducation: A minimum of GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above in English and MathsExperience: A minimum of one year's experience in a trade counter sales roleExperience of sales to the construction industrySkills and Competences: Generate new leads, develop new businessGood planning and organisational skillsExcellent attention to detail, organisational, planning and prioritising abilityComputer literate with all Microsoft Office packagesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSupport customers with the product rangeMaintain legible, accurate and up-to-date recordsCircumstances: Able to work flexible hours as required and to travel as needed to ensure business needs are metPossess a full, current driving licencePersonality Fit:Ambitious & passionate about our brand, our reputation and our customersAn ambassador for our company values and someone who leads by exampleEnthusiastic & knowledgeable about all things KilwaughterA self-motivated relationship builder with a positive outlookDetermined and driven by results whilst eager to work at paceInterested in working for Kilwaughter Minerals?
