Job DescriptionCo-ordinate back office administrative support for contracts related to Agri and Mineral Shipping.
Accept client nominations and issuing the services that will be provided by SGS.Develop and maintain relationships with clients to enhance trust, understanding and an awareness of local market trends/developments-Main contact point for clients through a shared (AFL) email.Liaise and work effectively with other all inspectors to manage resources effectively, share best practice and ensure quality inspection services are delivered across Irish operational locations- ensure all client vessels are routinely covered.Provide updates to inspectors on schedules and safety instructionsEnsure assigned inspector has all the contacts & skills required for each type of nomination received.Review reports for detail & accuracy from Inspectors and issue daily reports to clients.Track and report on laboratory test results from Cargos in a timely manner.Maintain timely and accurate communications with clients and team to encompass updates on delays and any /all potential impacts on work execution.
(This may involve a number of reports and phone calls)Issue relevant certs to clients re cargo condition and quality & quantity.Store all files and relevant emails in shared drive .Provide essential billing data to SGS accounts to ensure clients are invoiced accordingly.Work closely with local and senior management and business development teams to ensure that potential new business activities are fully explored and appropriate growth opportunities maximisedAssist in providing relevant information for scheduled audits and relevant training of inspectors.Identify training needs within the team and working with the NR team and managerAt all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the Company's policies and procedures inclusive of the Rules for Life.Ensure full compliance with the Company's Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct, and at all times adopt behaviour in accordance with SGS Equality & Diversity policy.Limited weekend work may be required – Time in Leu to be given in respect of this.
