Trading Manager

Trading Manager We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Trading Manager on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Trading.

Specific duties and responsibilities include: Negotiation and agreeing purchasing terms and conditions with an agreed list of suppliers. Development of agreed partnership agendas with BWG Foods "Preferred Supplier Partners". Managing and developing a specific portfolio of suppliers and brands. Achieving budgeted LTA, Sales, Margin and all other forms of income for BWG. Managing a portfolio of brands including product range and selection, introducing new brands and delisting existing brands as market conditions demand. Maintaining and improving retailer gross margins and ensuring that the retailer price file is reviewed and updated as appropriate.Ensuring allocated suppliers are providing efficient and satisfactory levels of support to all retailers.Sourcing and agreeing products for retail and wholesale promotions and communication of such information to all relevant departments.Supporting business development projects and commercial events as required. The successful candidate will possess: Strong influencing & negotiating skills. Excellent communication skills. Previous buying experience in FMCG.Strong financial skills. Strategic thinking ability. Relationship development skills.
