You will be a key member of the management team with involvement in shaping the future of the business.
Your new role As the Trading Operation Manager role, you will provide senior level leadership and support across the team and will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of circa.
12 people and co-ordinating the work of assigned staff based on the direction of the head of function.
You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day trading operation processing activities in line with agreed procedures and timelines.
Coordinate the work of assigned staff based on the direction of the Head of Market Operations.
Plan and allocate team resources to meet priorities and manage issues, coach staff in issue resolution and act as an escalation point.
Support the Head of Market Operations in designing and implementing appropriate KPIs and operational targets for the team, including the escalation of risks and issues.
Lead ongoing process improvement and training activity.
Contribute to the strategic development of the Trading Operations team and the Operations and Asset Management Directorate.
Coordinate the management of audits.
Any other reasonable duties and when required.
What you'll need to succeed 6+ years of relevant experience with excellent analysis, judgement and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to make decisions promptly and effectively.
Developed people skills with experience of coordinating the work of others.
Experience of designing and implementing business process improvements.
Effective communicator, both verbal and written communications, and comfortable in presenting to large groups.
Third level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
