Job Title: Trainee Team Leader Location: Navan, County Meath Salary: €15 - €16 per hour Job Ref: S011510 ** This will initially be a temporary role, with a view to permanency. ** Purpose of the Role Our client is now seeking a Trainee Team Leader to join their team in Navan. The successful candidate will provide support to the Management Team to ensure the client operates in a professional, compliant and profitable manner. Key responsibilities include Providing support in the absence of the Manager/Assistant Manager, and to carry out any duties as required (including key holding responsibilities). Communicate effectively with customers & staff ensuring queries are resolved efficiently & effectively. Supervision, mentoring and training of new & existing staff. Assisting and growing customer sales. Ensuring compliance with the Operating Standards Programme Working in conjunction with Management in relation to effective replenishment and stock control in line with company procedures, whilst also ensuring stock availability to meet customer needs Assist in the effective management and reduction of wastage within the branch Working with Management to ensure the branch is prepared for Quarter End activities Ensuring security is maintained, protecting employees and stock Ensuring the effective supervision of employees Contribute to the operation of the branch in a customer focused/friendly manner Minimising expenditure and, where appropriate, assist with the management of overheads Undertake an ADHOC duties that may arise. The successful candidate will Previous experience in supervisory/management position Must have experience of the licensed and/or grocery, catering trade Highly motivated self-starter Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with customers and suppliers in a professional manner Experience in warehouse management stock control Attention to detail in all aspects ensuring accurate, professional and speedy processing of orders.
