Trainee Vehicle Accident Repair Estimator Northside Dublin Location We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Vehicle Accident Repair Estimator.
This position will be located in our Northside Dublin bodyshop.
The ideal candidate will learn to provide the skills necessary to estimate vehicle repair costs accurately.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the automotive repair industry.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet customers and handle inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
Assist customers with insurance claims and provide necessary documentation.
Accident Repair Estimation: Learn to inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of repairs needed.
Use estimation software to calculate repair costs.
Prepare detailed repair estimates for customers and insurance companies.
Work with senior estimators to review and finalize repair estimates.
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of estimates, customer interactions, and repair status.
Assist in scheduling repair appointments and coordinating with the repair team.
Training and Development: Participate in training programs to gain knowledge of vehicle repair processes and estimation techniques.
Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in repair technology.
Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Any relevant technical or vocational training is a plus.
Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in the automotive industry or related field is advantageous but not required.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Motors eg.
technical structures, mechanics, computer parts administration etc.. would be an advantage as it is a detailed motoring job role
