Trainer / Key Worker – Rehabilitative Training ProgrammeDublin, IrelandFull time, ContractWho We AreEstablished in 1951, the Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) is a voluntary organisation and national charity working with children and adults with disabilities.
The voluntary sector provides 75% of the disability services in Ireland and, alongside a number of voluntary organisations and the Health Service Executive (HSE), the CRC works to provide a variety of services to children and adults with disabilities.

(WTE 1) Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required is essential, as services are delivered in line with the needs of the individuals (Monday to Sunday roster 8am-8pm) A vacancy has arisen for the above post on our Rehabilitative Training Programme in Adult Services, CRC.
In line with New Directions Policy 2012, the aim of our training programmes is to support adults with disabilities in obtaining the necessary academic knowledge, skills, experience, and confidence to lead self-determined lives within their community.
As a Trainer, you will design, deliver, and assess QQI Level 1 & 2 modules, such as Health Related Exercise, Problem Solving, Visual Art, Using Technology, etc., achieve the required standards, support the students in attaining their qualifications, and assist them with progression plans.
You may be required to work across our programmes, delivering non-accredited and accredited modules.
Modules range from QQI Levels 1 to 4.
In addition, as Key Worker, you will also be responsible for supporting a group of adults onsite and in the community, working with them in a one-to-one capacity, helping them to develop their Personal Centred Plans, which will support them in achieving both their academic and personal goals.
Applicants for this position should have the following essential criteria: A relevant technical qualification: i.e., QQI Level 8 or above in social studies, management, education, or a related discipline.One year's relevant experience delivering modules at QQI Levels 1 - 4 (for example, Communications, Computer Literacy, and Career Preparation modules) within an educational setting.Working knowledge of the New Directions policy.Experience of working as part of a team in all aspects of Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse.The following criteria are desirable but not essential: The ability to plan and work with adults and their supports to ensure a meaningful day in line with their aspirations.The ability to work on their own initiative.Have completed the Universal Design Learning badge/undertake it within 6 months of start date.A commitment to the empowerment of adults with disabilities.

SalaryDepartment of Health Salary Scale, Senior Instructor/Supervisor pro-rata (full-time rate €34,081 to €49,864).
