Role Purpose
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to oversee the efficient implementation and continuous improvement of our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) training programs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with HR, Operations, and other departments to identify EHS training needs, develop and enhance training materials, and deliver impactful training sessions. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organisation not only meets current EHS compliance requirements but is also equipped to mitigate future risks through ongoing education, documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities: EHS Training Program Management: Implement and oversee EHS training programs across the organisation, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and organisational goals. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of training programs, incorporating feedback and industry best practices. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with HR, Operations, and other departments to assess EHS training needs and prioritise training initiatives. Coordinate with subject matter experts to develop and refine EHS training content that is relevant, engaging, and up-to-date. Training Delivery: Conduct EHS training sessions for employees at all levels, utilising a variety of training methods (in-person, virtual, e-learning). Ensure that training sessions are tailored to different audiences and effectively communicate key EHS principles and practices. Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all EHS training activities, including attendance, assessment results, and certifications. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards, preparing reports and documentation as required by regulatory bodies. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging EHS trends, regulations, and technologies to proactively update training programs. Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the EHS training framework to enhance overall program effectiveness. Experience: Proven experience in training coordination, ideally within an EHS-focused role. Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices. Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences. Strong organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in using training software and tools (e.g., LMS, virtual training platforms). Key Competencies: Proactive and resourceful, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
