We are currently looking to hire a Transport Administrator to join the Barry Group Team.Role Purpose:To support and assist the Transport Supervisor by achieving all supply chain administrative duties so that targets are met.
To drive compliance reporting and monitor same across the supply chain network.
To ensure full adherence of supply chain compliance requirements and targets in order to facilitate 'best in class' operating standards and to be a point of contact for the Department in responding and closing out supplier queries, customer queries and bond.General Duties & Responsibilities:Support the transport team to provide a cost effective, fit for purpose, supply chain model that allows us to get it right first time, every time.Complete administration tasks.Comply with all health and safety and all applicable legislative compliance.Key contact for customers and suppliers updating on changes/deviations to normal service.Respond to customer/supplier queries and ensure all are closed out.Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders, managers, drivers, customers and other relevant departments.Liaise & build relationships with customers, suppliers, sales contacts & drivers.To assist in any ad-hoc duties where necessary.The successful candidates should have:Excellent attention to detail.Past experience in a customer service environment.Strong Communication skills.Honesty, integrity and openness.Strong problem-solving focus.Be proficient in MS Office.The Benefits of working with Barry Group:Educational Support.Discounted Goods.In-house Mental Health First Aiders and additional Wellbeing Programs including Cycle to Work Scheme.CSR Activities.Future Planning with our Pension Plan.Competitive Salary.Professional Development Opportunities.Barry Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer
