Job DescriptionScope of Position: Support the dispatch & collection of shipments in an efficient & timely manner.
Liasing with operations, effectively managing and negotiating costs and ensuring sub-contractors & hauliers are operating as per Expeditors requirements.Major Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the deliveries throughout IrelandComplete and delegate the daily drivers sheets for the Dublin areaManage all country deliveries through approved country hauliersMaintain the collection database & coordinate pickups with drivers throughout the dayDelegate domestic jobs for the Dublin OfficeResponsible for interdepartmental & external billing on a monthly basisMonitor the collections & airport driversSource pricing for deliveries or collections where neededOrganise any special deliveries or collections where neededQualificationsAccurate attention to detailAbility to work on ones own initiativePC literateSuperior customer service skillsExcellent communication & Organisational Skills
