Transport Manager An exciting position has become available for a full-time Transport Manager based in Co. Carlow.
The successful candidate will earn circa €45,000 - €55,000 depending on relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Transport Planning, the employer is open to qualifications.
Ongoing training will be provided to the ideal candidate.

Role Requirements Experience in a Transport Manager/Transport Supervisor position.
Experience of transport planning.
Experience in the construction industry, readymix and tarmacadam delivery experience a distinct advantage Advanced IT skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
Be computer literate with HR and Time and Attendance systems, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to cost routes and cost review completed jobs.
Role Responsibilities Making sure vehicles are properly maintained.
Inspecting vehicles.
Liasing with the companys garage facility to ensure maximum utilisation of fleet.
Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications.
Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading.
Maintaining and completing accurate records.
Maintaining oversight on each driver and vehicle.
