Transport Planner

Job Description:
Flexsource are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner role for our client, based in Ballyboughal, Co Dublin.
Looking for a candidate with excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:Tracking trunking performance, load planning, and vehicle use.Update collection/delivery statuses and oversee transport administration.Planning of domestic vehicles for Transport of Domestic, Road Freight & Logistics customers.Monitor and deal with transport queries by liaising with other depots and departments.Communicate with warehouse and yard man on inbound trailer arrivals and offloading process in line with customs procedures.Answer calls from drivers and customers and help them with their questions.Respond professionally to consumer inquiries about shipment tracking.Assign customer support questions and concerns to the appropriate teams and ensure that they are followed up on.Assure that the Dublin-based distribution fleet's GPS and transport routing systems are operational at all times.Ensuring consistently high-quality customer service.Ad hoc duties as required.Benefits:Career DevelopmentFive weeks of annual leavePension SchemeService Awards and BenefitsCompetitive SalaryBonus SchemeHours:Weekly/Biweekly rotating shift of Monday to Friday, 5am to 2pm and 12pm-9pm, including every 3rd Saturday 5am to finish.Salary:€33,000 - €38,000 (Based on Experience)
