As a Transport Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the day-to-day transport operations at the site, ensuring the operation is running smoothly, and supporting the Transport Operation Manager with a variety of tasks that add value to the operation.

Hours: 9.00pm to 7.00am. 40 hours Per Week
Working pattern: Any 4 from 7
Location: Clonshaugh, Dublin 17
What you'll do: Your key accountabilities will include:
Maintaining a safe and friendly working environment for all employees, agency and subcontractorsOwn the recruitment, induction, absence management, well-being meetings & 1-2-1s process, including disciplinaries, grievances and investigations within the transport departmentEnsuring effective communication within the transport teams through meetings and briefingsResponsible for delivery of operational KPIs. Maintain and improve performance levels to maximise efficiency of operation in line with account KPI'sWho you are: Your skills and experience will include:
Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of a transport function within the FMCG Distribution IndustryA background operating at a management level is a mustA passion for encouraging teamwork, focusing on creating an innovative culture where all employees can voice their suggestions and ideasExcellent team management skill for developing your teamAn analytical mind-setFlexibility to cover a variety of shift patterns in the futureYou'll come in contact with Trade Unions (previous experience with this would be beneficial)Why Gist?
