Transport Supervisor

Job descriptionAbout your new job Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and internal SOPs.Conduct warehouse walkthroughs, including pallet and bay checks.Complete scanning, address reports, and resolve discrepancies.Supervise the night shift team and coordinate loading activities.Assign tasks based on workload and priorities.Monitor team performance and provide guidance to optimize efficiency.Ensure proper handling and secure loading of goods to prevent damage.Verify loaded goods against shipping documents and resolve discrepancies.Communicate with warehouse, transportation, and logistics teams to address concerns.Collaborate with other shifts for seamless operations and smooth handovers.Implement corrective actions and improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.Maintain accurate records of loading activities, including quantities and departure times.Prepare daily reports on productivity and notable occurrences.Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stocktaking and reconciliation.Delegate tasks effectively while prioritizing deadlines.Perform any other duties required by the business.What skill/experience you need Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a warehousing/transportation environment.Experience with HGVs is essential for this role.What's on offer Full time permanent role Monday to FridaySalary DOENight ShiftWhat's next Apply now by clicking "Apply Now" or contact me at 021 484 7139.
