A Day in the Life of a Transportation Supervisor: Assign and supervise work crews operating Over the Road truck and trailers.Monitor progress of daily operations and reassign employees and make staffing changes as necessary.Help develop and execute safety goals.Conduct field inspections and audits of all site personnel to ensure proper work procedures.Perform reviews and performance management discussions.Formulate both short-term and long-term goals and action plans.Oversee a variety of complex compliance programs, including environmental and OSHA.Work closely with multiple locations on a daily basis.Work with third party trucking companies as needed.Must Have: Ability to relocate for promotional opportunities based on performance.Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.Prior experience in transportation/trucking/logistics required.Have or ability to obtain within 90 days your Class A CDL.Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related business systems.Ability to travel to all locations on a monthly basis.Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Annually
