About the Treasury Analyst role his position provides the opportunity to gain full exposure to the Goodbody Treasury function.
This function is of fundamental importance to the firm to enable trades to settle, deposits to be placed, client asset rules to be followed and to ensure robust Treasury processes are in place to meet existing and expected requirements from a policy, SREP and EBA guidelines expectation.
Treasury Analyst accountabilities include: Senior member of the team responsible for ensuring that all client and firm cash is managed efficiently and in accordance with policy and Regulations.
Working with the Head of Treasury, CFO and Financial Risk in Goodbody and the Group on liquidity risk enhancements as per EBA and SREP guidelines.
Embedding operational processes with outsourced partners.
Daily cash flow monitoring and forecasting, the management of client deposit rollovers and working with Pershing on all cash movements.
Review of end-to-end Treasury operating model.
Mentoring the team, embedding risk oversight and control environment with the Head of Treasury.
Client asset adherence - reporting and monitoring.
This is a key role in the department and requires oversight of the daily client asset calculations and on-going monitoring of adherence to the client asset rules and co-ordinating the annual Client asset Examination.
Reconciliations – daily responsibility for overseeing all Finance related reconciliations.
Overseeing the liquidity risk metrics and monitoring compliance to exposure limits.
Working with the team and broader Finance team on living the Goodbody values on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate should have relevant third level qualifications.
The successful candidate will be provided with on the job and formal training as required.
Minimum of two years financial services experience with Treasury experience an advantage.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel is essential.
Due to the high level of spreadsheet-based work in the role an excellent knowledge of Excel would be an advantage: Pivot tables, lookups and knowledge of formulae etc.
