The Treasury Analyst, Treasury Operations EMEA, is a key member of the Global Business Services (GBS) Treasury Organisation. The GBS Treasury Organisation has approximately 40 colleagues located across our regions managing liquidity, foreign exchange, banking (and related intercompany); product, services, and transfer pricing settlements; and intercompany financing as part of a global process.
In this role, The Treasury Analyst will assist in the Day-to-Day Operations of the Pfizer GBS Treasury Dublin Liquidity Management (LM) Centre of Excellence.
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for liquidity management for Pfizer businesses in EMEA markets within the scope of the LM Centre of Excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare cash forecasts in a timely, accurate and complete manner Ensure all funding transfer requests are processed and approved Active management of local bank accounts ensuring balances are minimised Monitor and manage cash account balances ensuring accurate money market deals and FX transactions are executed Maintain bank account documentation with partner banks opening/closing, signatory updates, KYC, etc. Manage month end Treasury Accounting reconciliations Ensure that the highest levels of integrity, internal control and compliance are always maintained Ensure all operational activities and controls are operated in accordance with approved global processes and procedures, including SOPs and Corporate Policies Support Treasury and Corporate projects Represent the Treasury Operations function on cross functional/site initiatives Keep abreast of the latest Treasury practices and technology Required Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree ideally with strong business/finance content Experience in Treasury or related function Treasury Management systems/SAP experience Strong analytical skills Team player who can operate effectively as a member of a dynamic team Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills Ability to demonstrate flexibility in thinking and approach in response to changes in the business environment In order to be considered for this position you need to be legally eligible to work in the EU.
