We are seeking a highly motivated Trust Manager to join this developing business and contribute to its growth and success.
Job Description
To work with the Managing Director in the management and administration of the trusts, directorships and other services provided by the company.
The intention is that the Trust Manager will in due course assume responsibility for managing and administering their own portfolio of trusts and related services.
Key/Main Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Trust Manager include but are not limited to:
§ onboarding, including compliance matters, and due diligence work required for new clients;
§ post-client appointment work, including arranging for the set-up of bank and other accounts, tax and other registrations, and completing beneficial ownership registers;
§ carrying out annual management and administration tasks, including:
o liaising directly with beneficiaries, settlors and co-directors
o reviewing investment performance and strategies, asset allocations and understanding risk profiles
o staying informed of relevant legislation, regulations and compliance requirements
o reviewing legal documents and ensuring compliance with trustee duties
o managing accounts and tax reporting by working closely with tax advisers or accountants
o arranging and actively participating in trustee and trustee committee meetings
o drafting memoranda and minutes of meetings
o liaising with trust and other professional advisers
o managing bank accounts
o governance planning and budgeting
o maintaining records;
§ fulfilling annual CPD requirements and attending conferences and training as required; and
§ such other duties as may arise in connection with trusts, directorships and other services.
The Trust Manager will also undertake such office and company administration tasks as may be required.

Qualifications & Experience Required
§ Full member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) or professional qualification in law, accounting or tax or progressing towards full membership/qualification
§ Minimum of two years' experience in relevant professional services industry
§ Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
