We act as depositary for a wide range of international clients who manage UCITS, Alternative Investment Funds including private equity and real estate structures, hedge funds and special purpose investment vehicles. We can offer a full suite of Fund Administration and Transfer Agency Services through our sister company.
Our primary objective is to assist our clients achieve their investment objectives supported through our local and global custody service divisions.
Summary of the key purposes of the role Reporting to the Trustee Manager, the Trustee Administrator is responsible for overseeing legal and regulatory compliance with regard to Irish and non-Irish domiciled funds. The role of the Trustee is to act independent of the Fund and its Management Company and ensure the Fund is being managed in accordance with its constitutional documentation, the Regulations and in all other material respects.
Previous experience in Trustee/Custody role desirable but not essential.
A key consideration of this role will be the opportunity to be involved in various initiatives designed to enhance the Depositary's operational control environment.
Summary of responsibilities Portfolio complianceInvestment & borrowing restriction monitoringConcentration and leverage calculationsBreach register maintenanceCash Flow MonitoringIdentification of significant and inconsistent cash flowEligible credit institutionsThird party cash account monitoringNet Asset Valuation (NAV) OversightIncome calculation and distributionsValidate Share class hedging calculationsExpense budget analysisPerformance/incentive fee calculationsTrial Balance/Portfolio Valuations analysisContribute to the on-site visits of fund delegates and to the issuing of final reportsAsset Safe-keepingOwnership verification - securities held outside the depositary's traditional safe-keeping arrangementsEligible AssetsReal Estate and Private Equity structuresClient Service / ReportingContribute and deliver monthly and quarterly reportingAssist with preparing responses to client queriesIssuance of standard letters to the RegulatorsProject ManagementAssist with work flow development and enhancementsProfile required Competencies Good time management & organisational skills.Good numeric & analytical skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Solid understanding of financial instruments and stock markets.Good working knowledge of Word and Excel (VBA is an advantage).Good level of English with excellent writing skills.Desire to learn new skills with a continuous improvement attitude.Be self-motivated with a structured and determined approach to work, and show a willingness to take ownership of problems and an ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels.WORK EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a financial service environment is an advantage.Third level qualification and/or advanced in professional studies.Experience in financial services is a distinct advantage.EDUCATION Maths, Business or Finance qualification.LANGUAGES Fluent English, proficient in both written and oral communication.Knowledge of French a plus.Why join us People join for the impact they can have on us.
