Role: Senior Radiographer Job Type: FT Permanent Salary: €56,185 - €65,062 Location: Galway Overview of Role: TTM Healthcare are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiographer to join a team in delivering high-quality, patient-focused radiographic services.
This role involves working closely with the Radiology Services Manager (RSM) and Deputy to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
You will perform general, specialised, and advanced imaging procedures following departmental protocols, maintaining high technical standards, and providing patient care in a professional and empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities Provide radiographic services under the supervision of the RSM and Clinical Specialist Radiographers.
Lead in delivering radiographic care professionally and effectively.
Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to offer integrated, patient-centered services.
Adhere to departmental imaging protocols, ensuring accurate patient image identification.
Rotate across all radiology areas as needed and participate in the on-call service.
Establish, maintain, and uphold quality standards, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in the planning and development of services, supporting ongoing improvements.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and quality assurance checks.
Report incidents using the Q-Pulse system, escalating issues to the Clinical Specialist or RSM.
Stay updated with the latest radiographic techniques and participate in in-service training programs.
Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and support research and training for less experienced staff.
Undertake other duties as directed by the RSM or Clinical Specialists.
Requirements: Holds a Diploma in Radiography or a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent).
CORU registration.
At least 3 years of post-qualification experience across a broad range of radiographic examinations (General Radiology and CT essential).
Proven experience in team collaboration with Radiographers.
Demonstrates initiative, resilience under pressure, and problem-solving abilities.
Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Displays strong responsibility and individual initiative.
Flexible and willing to take on additional duties as required.
