Turndown Assistant (Part-Time Evening Housekeeping)

The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury hotels, and now a certified Great Place to Work, is recruiting for a part-time Turndown Assistant .
  Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job.
Working alongside an experienced team, you will be offered plenty of training.
This is a really rewarding role on a team where you can be assured of a warm welcome!    Your role as Turndown Assistant will include:   1. Service guest rooms, corridors and public areas to the required standard in accordance with the departmental manual.
2.
Stock and maintain housekeeping trolleys.
3.
Complete cleaning checklists as and when required.
4.
Handle all lost property with care and ensure it is reported to a senior person on duty.
5.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with senior person on duty             Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.
The hours are mainly 5.30pm - 10.30pm, four - five days per week.
The successful candidate will have strong guest focus, communication skills, spoken and written English, multi-tasking ability and enjoy contributing in a positive way to The Merrion Culture.
Flexibility in response to guest and business needs is required, no two days are the same!
