Position: TV and Film Project Consultant (Temporary Role)
About the Role: The TV and Film Project Consultant will work alongside the Production and Development team, assessing applications for funding, monitoring active projects, and offering creative and financial guidance to Irish filmmakers, writers, producers, and directors. While focusing on talent development schemes, documentary, and animation, the role also involves contributing to the entire range of Screen Ireland's creative outputs, ensuring projects align with our strategic goals.
The consultant will report directly to the Director of Corporate and Industry Affairs/Head of Feature Film and collaborate closely with internal teams to provide insights, feedback, and project tracking across the development slate. The position is based in Dublin with an onsite requirement two days per week.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and evaluate TV and film funding applications, focusing on creative potential, viability, and commercial opportunities.Collaborate on talent development and participate in key meetings to provide input on documentary and animation projects.Track and support projects across various development and production stages, contributing to the broader growth of Irish film and TV.Engage directly with industry stakeholders and assist in preparing projects for festivals, ensuring they are positioned for success both nationally and internationally.Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should have a solid background in the TV and film industry, with specific experience in creative project development, talent engagement, and funding processes. Strong project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and familiarity with the Irish and international screen landscapes are essential for success in this role.
